Hayasa
Hayasa was an ancient region located in the southeastern part of the Armenian Highlands, roughly around the area of modern eastern Turkey and western Armenia. It existed during the late Bronze Age and early Iron Age (around the 2nd millennium BCE). Hayasa was known for its conflicts and interactions with neighboring civilizations like the Hittites and Armenians. It played a role as a frontier territory and a cultural zone where different peoples and kingdoms exchanged influence. While no extensive records survive, Hayasa is recognized as part of the broader history of early peoples in the Caucasus and Anatolia regions.
