Hawai'ian (Hawaiian)

Hawai'ian (or Hawaiian) is a Polynesian language spoken primarily in Hawai'i, part of the Pacific Islands. It developed over centuries from the early Polynesian settlers who arrived around 1,000 years ago. The language features unique sounds and vocabulary rooted in the natural environment and cultural traditions of Hawai'i.
