Harmonic Number

Harmonic numbers are a sequence in mathematics created by adding up reciprocals of natural numbers. For example, the first harmonic number (H₁) is 1, the second (H₂) is 1 + 1/2, the third (H₃) is 1 + 1/2 + 1/3, and so forth. They appear in various areas like analysis, number theory, and algorithms, often related to processes involving division or averaging. Harmonic numbers grow slowly, roughly proportional to the natural logarithm, and provide insight into the behavior of sums involving reciprocals.
