Hard determinism is the philosophical view that every event, including human actions, is determined by prior causes and natural laws. It suggests that free will is an illusion because our choices are ultimately shaped by factors beyond our control, such as genetics, environment, and past experiences. Under this perspective, everything that happens is the inevitable result of these preceding conditions, leaving no room for genuine freedom of choice.
