Hand knitting techniques
Hand knitting involves creating fabric by looping yarn with two or more needles. You start with a set number of stitches on a needle, then use your other hand to pull the yarn through these stitches, forming new loops. These loops are transferred back onto needles, building rows that shape your fabric. Techniques include casting on to start, knitting and purling for different textures, increasing or decreasing stitches for shaping, and binding off to finish. Consistent tension and rhythm help create even stitches. With practice, you can produce a variety of garments and accessories, customizing patterns and textures to your liking.
