Hanban (Office of Chinese Language Council International)

Hanban, officially known as the Office of Chinese Language Council International, is a non-governmental organization affiliated with China's Ministry of Education. Its primary role is to promote Chinese language and culture worldwide through establishing Confucius Institutes, providing language teaching resources, and supporting Chinese language learners globally. Hanban also oversees teacher training and cultural exchanges, aiming to foster greater understanding and appreciation of Chinese language and culture internationally.
