Hall Effect sensors detect magnetic fields to measure position, speed, or current. When a magnetic field passes through the sensor’s internal electronic components, it creates a small voltage known as the Hall voltage. This voltage signals the presence and strength of a magnetic field, allowing the sensor to determine the movement or position of a nearby magnetic object. They are reliable, contactless devices commonly used in motor control, automotive systems, and electronic devices to provide precise, real-time measurements without mechanical contact or wear.
