Hajj pilgrimage sites
The Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca involves visiting several sacred sites. Muslims walk around the Kaaba, a cube-shaped building in the Masjid al-Haram mosque, which is the holiest site. They also travel to Mount Arafat, where Prophet Muhammad delivered his final sermon, symbolizing the Hajj's spiritual climax. The black-draped Kaaba is the direction Muslims face during prayer. Pilgrims visit Mina, a valley with tents used for ritual rites, and the symbolic stoning of Jamarat, where they throw stones at three pillars representing Satan. These sites collectively serve as physical acts of faith, reflection, and unity for Muslims worldwide.
