Hahnemann (Samuel Hahnemann)

Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843) was a German physician who founded homeopathy, an alternative medical system. He proposed that substances causing symptoms in healthy individuals could, when highly diluted, help treat similar symptoms in sick people—a concept called "like cures like." Hahnemann emphasized natural remedies and minimal intervention, believing that highly diluted solutions could stimulate the body's healing response. His approach contrasted with traditional medicine of his time. While controversial and debated today, Hahnemann's work significantly influenced complementary medicine practices worldwide.
