Hümâyun was a term used for the Mughal emperor’s throne or imperial court, symbolizing the ruler's authority and sovereignty. It represented the emperor’s divine right to govern and was often associated with the grandeur and power of the Mughal Empire in India. The term also referred to the imperial court as a gathering place for the emperor, courtiers, and officials, functioning as a center for governance, ceremonies, and culture.
