Gustav Gun

The Gustav Gun, also known as "Schwerer Gustav," was a massive railway gun developed by Nazi Germany during World War II. Weighing nearly 1,400 tons, it was designed to fire extremely large shells, including one weighing 7 tons, with the capability of destroying heavily fortified targets like the French Maginot Line. The gun was mainly used during the Siege of Sevastopol in 1942. Its size and complexity made it impractical for widespread use, and it was symbolic of the extensive resources Germany invested in their military technology during the war.
