Gurus of Sikhism

The Gurus of Sikhism are spiritual teachers who guided followers in understanding and practicing the faith’s core principles of devotion to one God, equality, and honest living. Starting with Guru Nanak in the 15th century, each Guru, including nine in total, provided spiritual guidance, leadership, and contributed to shaping Sikh beliefs, scriptures, and community practices. Their teachings emphasize humility, service, and compassion. The Gurus are revered not as divine but as enlightened guides whose wisdom forms the foundation of Sikhism. Their legacy continues to inspire millions toward moral integrity and spiritual growth.
