Gupta Dynasty

The Gupta Dynasty was an influential ruling family in ancient India, established around 320 CE and lasting until about 550 CE. Known as a "Golden Age," it was marked by significant achievements in art, science, mathematics, literature, and culture. The Guptas promoted advancements like the concept of zero in math and impressive sculpture and architecture. Their rule helped unify much of northern India and fostered a period of peace and prosperity, laying foundational cultural and scientific developments that impact India and the world to this day.
