Gulf War Veterans
Gulf War Veterans are military personnel who served in the Gulf War, primarily from 1990 to 1991, in conflicts such as Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. This war was fought to liberate Kuwait from Iraqi occupation. Many veterans have reported experiencing a range of health issues, often referred to as Gulf War Syndrome, which may include fatigue, memory problems, and other unexplained symptoms. The government has provided various forms of support, including healthcare and research into the health effects of their service, acknowledging the unique challenges faced by these veterans after their return home.
