Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Conservation Initiatives

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is a regional organization made up of six countries in the Arabian Peninsula: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. To address environmental challenges, the GCC has launched various conservation initiatives aimed at protecting natural resources, biodiversity, and ecosystems. These efforts include sustainable management of water, air quality improvement, wildlife preservation, and renewable energy projects. The goal is to balance development with environmental sustainability, ensuring that future generations can enjoy a healthy and vibrant ecosystem while supporting economic growth in the region.
