Guitar techniques
Guitar techniques are methods musicians use to produce different sounds and effects. Some common techniques include fingerpicking, where fingers pluck individual strings for melody; strumming, sweeping across strings for rhythm; bending, pushing strings to change pitch; sliding, moving fingers along strings for smooth transitions; and palm muting, resting the palm on strings for a muted sound. Hammer-ons and pull-offs involve quick finger movements to play notes smoothly without picking each one. These techniques enhance musical expression, add variety, and help create a wide range of tones and dynamics on the guitar.
