Guitar effects

Guitar effects are tools that modify the sound of an electric guitar, shaping its tone and adding texture. They include devices like reverb (creating a sense of space), delay (echo effects), distortion (adding grit and sustain), modulation effects like chorus and flanger (shimmering or swirling tones), and filter effects such as wah-wah (sweeping tonal changes). These effects can be used individually or combined to create a wide variety of sounds, allowing guitarists to express different moods, styles, and atmospheres in their music. Essentially, effects enhance and personalize the guitar's sound beyond its natural tone.
