Guinea Ecuatorial
Guinea Ecuatorial, or Equatorial Guinea, is a small country located in Central Africa, consisting mainly of a mainland region called Río Muni and several islands, including Bioko where the capital, Malabo, is situated. It borders Cameroon and Gabon and has coastlines along the Atlantic Ocean. Rich in oil and natural resources, the country’s economy has grown rapidly, though wealth is unevenly distributed. Official languages are Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Despite economic advancements, Guinea Ecuatorial faces challenges such as political repression and limited infrastructure development. It is a member of international organizations like the United Nations and African Union.
