Guarani

Guarani is a language spoken by millions of people mainly in Paraguay, as well as parts of Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia. It belongs to the Tupi-Guarani language family, which includes many indigenous languages of South America. Unlike many indigenous languages, Guarani is officially recognized and widely used alongside Spanish and Portuguese. It’s an important cultural symbol for Paraguay’s identity and is spoken in daily life, media, and education. Guarani also has a rich oral tradition, with various stories and songs that preserve the history and beliefs of its speakers.
