GSM (Grams per Square Meter)

GSM, or Grams per Square Meter, is a measurement used to indicate the weight and density of paper, fabric, or similar materials. It tells you how many grams one square meter of the material weighs. A higher GSM means the material is thicker, heavier, and typically more durable, while a lower GSM indicates a lighter, thinner material. For example, standard office paper usually has around 80-100 GSM, whereas card stock might be 200 GSM or more. GSM helps you compare the quality and strength of materials for different uses.
