Groups and Teams
Groups are collections of individuals who come together but may work independently toward a shared purpose, often sharing information or resources. Teams, on the other hand, are more cohesive units where members collaborate closely, coordinate their efforts, and often depend on each other’s skills to achieve a common goal. While groups focus on individual contributions within a larger context, teams emphasize collective effort, mutual accountability, and synergy to deliver results. Essentially, teams work more interactively and synergistically compared to groups, which can operate more independently.
