Group Stage

The group stage is the initial phase of a tournament where teams are divided into small groups and play against each other. Each team earns points based on their performance—typically three for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss. The main goal is to determine which teams advance to the next round, often the knockout stage, based on their points and performance. This round allows teams to compete multiple times, giving them a chance to prove themselves and set the stage for elimination battles later in the tournament.
