Group of stars
A group of stars is called a constellation. These are patterns or shapes formed by stars as seen from Earth, often named after mythological figures, animals, or objects. Constellations help astronomers and stargazers identify and locate different areas of the night sky. While the stars in a constellation are often not close to each other in space—some can be millions of miles apart—they appear connected from our viewpoint. Constellations are useful tools for navigation, storytelling, and understanding the universe, serving as a celestial map for explorers throughout history.
