GREET Model
The GREET (Greenhouse gases, Regulated emissions, and Energy use in Transportation) Model is a detailed tool developed by Argonne National Laboratory that analyzes the environmental impact of different transportation fuels and vehicle technologies. It estimates how much energy they consume and the greenhouse gases and pollutants they produce over their entire lifecycle—from raw material extraction to manufacturing, operation, and disposal. This helps researchers, policymakers, and industry experts compare options to identify more sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
