Green card investment refers to a program where individuals can obtain U.S. permanent residency (a green card) by investing a substantial amount of money in a U.S. business. Typically, an investor invests at least $900,000 or $1.8 million, depending on the project, which creates or preserves jobs for U.S. workers. This program aims to attract foreign capital to boost economic growth and job development. In return, investors and their immediate family members can live, work, and study in the U.S. with permanent resident status.
