Great Ararat

Mount Ararat, located in eastern Turkey, is a prominent, snow-capped mountain that stands about 16,854 feet (5,137 meters) tall. It is historically significant as the traditional resting place of Noah’s Ark, according to biblical tradition. Geographically, Ararat is a dormant volcanic massif composed of two main peaks and provides striking views. Its remote, rugged terrain and cultural importance make it a notable natural landmark and subject of archaeological interest. While no definitive evidence of the Ark’s remains has been found, the mountain continues to inspire exploration and holds spiritual significance for many.
