Gray Propaganda

Gray propaganda refers to information that is intentionally misleading or deceptive, but not outright false. It is produced and disseminated by various actors, including governments or organizations, to influence public perception or opinion without revealing its source. Unlike black propaganda, which is blatantly false and misattributed, gray propaganda blends fact with fiction in a way that makes it hard to trace back to its origin. This technique is often used in political campaigns, psychological operations, or during conflicts to shape narratives and sway audiences while maintaining plausible deniability.
