Gray mold

Gray mold, caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea, is a common plant disease that affects many fruits, vegetables, and flowers. It thrives in moist, humid conditions and appears as fuzzy, grayish mold on infected tissues. The mold destroys plant tissues, causing decay and often leading to rot.
