Gravitons

Gravitons are hypothetical particles that physicists propose to mediate or carry the force of gravity, similar to how photons carry electromagnetic force. In quantum theories, all fundamental forces are transmitted by particles, and if gravity has a quantum foundation, the graviton would be its messenger. Although not yet observed, the concept helps scientists understand how gravity might work at the smallest scales, blending quantum physics with Einstein’s theory of general relativity. Detecting gravitons remains a challenge, but they are key to unifying our understanding of all fundamental forces.
