GRAVITATION (Gravitational Theory)
Gravitation, or gravity, is the force of attraction between objects with mass. According to gravitational theory, massive objects like planets and stars create a curvature in spacetime—think of it as a fabric. This curvature directs the path of other objects moving nearby, which we perceive as gravity. For example, Earth’s mass curves spacetime around it, causing objects to fall toward the surface. Gravity governs the motion of planets, stars, and galaxies, and influences the structure and evolution of the universe. It is a fundamental interaction that acts over distances, shaping the cosmos at every scale.
