Graph SLAM

Graph SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) is a method used by robots and autonomous vehicles to build a map of an unknown environment while keeping track of their own location. It represents the environment and the robot's position as a graph—nodes are locations or landmarks, and edges are the relationships or measurements between them. Using sensors, the system continuously updates this graph, refining both its understanding of the surroundings and its position within it. This approach allows for more accurate navigation in complex or changing environments, enabling robots to operate effectively without prior maps.
