Grand unification theory

Grand Unification Theory (GUT) is a scientific idea that suggests the three fundamental forces of nature—electromagnetism, the weak nuclear force, and the strong nuclear force—were once unified as a single force in the early universe. As the universe cooled after the Big Bang, this unified force split into the distinct forces we observe today. GUT aims to describe this transition and unify these forces into a single framework, providing a deeper understanding of how matter and energy behave at the most fundamental level. It is a step toward a comprehensive "Theory of Everything" in physics.
