Grand Slam Bomb

The Grand Slam Bomb was a large-T NT- British aerial explosive device used during World War II, designed for demolishing heavily fortified targets like bunkers and bridges. Weighing around 22,000 pounds, it was one of the largest bombs dropped from aircraft at the time. Its massive size allowed it to generate tremendous destructive power, especially through a delayed-action fuse that caused extensive structural damage. The bomb was carried by specially modified aircraft like the Handley Page Halifax and was used mainly in strategic bombing campaigns to weaken enemy infrastructure.
