Tumor grading describes how abnormal cancer cells look and behave under a microscope, indicating how quickly they are likely to grow and spread. Grades range from I to IV: Grade I tumors look more like normal cells and tend to grow slowly, while Grade IV tumors have very abnormal cells and typically grow and spread quickly.
