GPA
GPA, or Grade Point Average, is a numerical way to measure a student's academic performance across their courses. It’s calculated by assigning each grade a point value (for example, A=4, B=3), multiplying that by the number of credits for the course, summing all these points, and then dividing by the total number of credits taken. The result is a single number, typically between 0 and 4.0, that reflects overall achievement. GPA helps compare student performance, determine academic standing, and fulfill graduation or admission requirements.
