Government of Scotland
The Government of Scotland, known as the Scottish Government, is responsible for making and implementing policies on issues that affect Scotland, such as education, health, transportation, and justice. It operates under the framework of the United Kingdom, with certain powers devolved from the UK Parliament, allowing it to manage regional affairs independently. Led by the First Minister, it works alongside the Scottish Parliament, which creates laws specific to Scotland. While it manages many domestic policies, some areas like defense and foreign policy remain under the UK's broader government.
