Government of Dominica
The Government of Dominica is the organized system that makes and enforces the country’s laws and policies. It consists of three branches: the Executive (led by the Prime Minister), responsible for running the country; the Legislature (Parliament), which makes laws; and the Judiciary, which interprets laws. Elected officials represent the citizens and work together to address national issues, improve services, and promote development. Dominica’s government also includes various ministries that manage areas like health, education, and security. The goal is to serve the people by maintaining order, protecting rights, and fostering economic growth.
