Gorilla
Gorillas are large, strong primates that belong to the family Hominidae, which also includes humans, chimpanzees, and orangutans. They are primarily found in the forests of central and western Africa. Gorillas are social animals, living in family groups led by a dominant male, known as a silverback. They are primarily herbivorous, eating leaves, stems, and fruits. Gorillas are known for their intelligence and share about 98% of their DNA with humans, making them one of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom. Unfortunately, they face threats from habitat loss and poaching, leading to their endangered status.
