Goodenough’s Rule

Goodenough’s Rule states that in a group of four players, if three of them all beat the fourth player, then at least one player in the group must have beaten another player outside the group. Essentially, this rule highlights how dominance or winning patterns within a small group imply connections beyond that group, ensuring the structure of a competition or network isn’t isolated. It helps organize understanding of relationships—like wins or influences—by indicating that dominance within a subgroup suggests links to the larger network.
