Goldilocks Zone
The Goldilocks Zone, also known as the habitable zone, is the range of distances from a star where conditions might be just right for liquid water to exist on a planet's surface. This zone’s boundaries are not fixed; they depend on the star’s size and warmth. Being inside this zone increases the likelihood of a planet supporting life as we know it. If a planet is too close, it may be too hot, and water would evaporate; if too far, it would be too cold, causing water to freeze. Thus, the Goldilocks Zone represents a balance conducive to habitability.
