God and the World

God is often viewed as the supreme, necessary being or ultimate reality—an uncaused cause responsible for the existence and order of the universe. The world is the universe we observe, including nature, matter, and life. In many traditions, God creates and sustains the world, imbuing it with purpose and meaning. The relationship between God and the world involves both divine transcendence (beyond and independent of creation) and immanence (present within creation). This perspective helps us understand our existence as part of a larger, purposeful reality rooted in a divine origin.
