Gnostic Gospels
The Gnostic Gospels are a collection of ancient texts discovered in the 20th century that offer alternative views of early Christianity. Unlike the four canonical Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), these texts often emphasize hidden knowledge (gnosis) as the path to spiritual salvation. They present different insights into Jesus's teachings, divine nature, and the nature of the universe, sometimes reflecting esoteric or mystical beliefs. While not included in the official Bible, they provide valuable perspectives on diverse early Christian beliefs and the debates surrounding orthodoxy during the faith’s formative centuries.
