Gnostic Christianity

Gnostic Christianity is a spiritual movement from the early centuries of Christianity that emphasizes personal spiritual knowledge (gnosis) over formal rituals or church authority. Gnostics believe that the material world is created by a lesser deity, often called the Demiurge, and that true divine knowledge can free the soul from physical existence. They seek inner enlightenment and view Jesus as a spiritual guide who reveals hidden truths. Gnostic texts and beliefs often diverge from mainstream Christianity, emphasizing self-discovery and the innate divine spark within each person.
