The Global Ocean Monitoring and Observing Program (GOMO) is an international effort to continuously collect and analyze data about the world's oceans. It uses advanced technology like sensors, satellites, and ships to track ocean temperature, salinity, currents, and marine life. GOMO’s goal is to improve our understanding of ocean health, climate change, and marine ecosystems, helping inform policy decisions and protect these vital resources. By sharing data globally, GOMO supports scientists and governments in managing sustainable ocean use and responding effectively to environmental challenges.
