Global Climate Fund (GCF)

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is an international financial mechanism established to support developing countries in combating climate change. It provides funding for projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help communities adapt to the impacts of climate change. The GCF aims to promote sustainable development by investing in renewable energy, climate-resilient infrastructure, and other initiatives. Managed by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), it encourages equitable access to resources, fosters innovation, and accelerates global efforts to limit global warming and build resilience in vulnerable regions.
