GiveWell Labs

GiveWell Labs was a research initiative by the charity evaluator GiveWell, launched in 2014 to explore innovative ways to improve global health and poverty alleviation. It focused on identifying promising, evidence-backed interventions that could have a significant impact if scaled up. The program aimed to go beyond existing well-vetted charities, testing new ideas and approaches to maximize effectiveness. Although it was eventually phased out in 2016 to focus on core areas, GiveWell Labs contributed valuable insights into scalable, cost-effective solutions for global development.
