Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme

The Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme (GASDS) allows charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) to claim additional money from the government when they receive small cash donations, typically up to £30, without needing the donor’s gift aid declaration. When these small donations are collected in a single event or collection, the scheme enables the charity to claim a boost of 25% (or higher if incorporated as a CASC) of the total amount received, helping them maximise fundraising efforts efficiently and support their activities.
