Ghiyath al-Din Tughlaq

Ghiyath al-Din Tughlaq was a ruler of the Delhi Sultanate in India during the 14th century, known for founding the Tughlaq dynasty. He came to power around 1320 and worked to strengthen and expand his empire through administrative reforms, including establishing a more organized governance system. Ghiyath al-Din also focused on military campaigns to defend and extend his territory. His rule is noted for stability and efforts to improve infrastructure, such as building forts and towns. Though less famous than some other sultans, his leadership laid important foundations for the subsequent rulers of the Delhi Sultanate.
