gestational carriers
A gestational carrier, or surrogates, is a woman who agrees to carry and deliver a pregnancy for someone else, often when the intended mother cannot do so herself due to medical reasons. In this arrangement, the surrogate is usually not genetically related to the baby, as the embryo is created using the intended parent's or donors' eggs and sperm via in-vitro fertilization (IVF), and then transferred to the surrogate's uterus. Gestational carriers are carefully screened and supported through legal and medical processes to ensure a safe and ethical experience for all parties involved.
