Germania (Berlin)
Germania Berlin was a large scale urban planning project in the early 20th century aiming to transform Berlin into a grand capital with impressive architecture and public spaces. It was initiated by Nazi Germany from 1938 to 1943 to showcase power and grandeur through monumental buildings and wide avenues. However, the project was never completed due to World War II and the fall of the Nazi regime. Today, the area remains largely undeveloped, with some parts incorporated into Berlin's existing neighborhoods, serving as a reminder of historical ambitions and the city's complex history.
